Shea Rouda was born at the perfect time to write a book right now about teens. He is one. Born in 1994, Shea’s blissful and carefree childhood came to a distinct point of uprooting in 2009, when his parents announced a move from his birthplace of Columbus, Ohio, to the wild West of Malibu, California.
Now, once again talking to his parents, and adjusted to his new-found home, Shea is anxious to share his insights. Sometimes it takes a jolt to bring forth creativity – it certainly did in this case. In addition to helping parents of teens through this book, Shea is a 4.0 student, a member of the basketball team, a new surfer, and counts himself lucky to have a great family, siblings and friends – now on both coasts.
